kane hodder video needs!

we are doing a music video based on the movie gummo.

we need.

2 girls willing to play chloe sevigny and her sister's characters.

you'd probably have lots of screen time.

the biggest scene would be at the end of the video. in a pool. making out with aaron's character.

preferably have access to spandex pants and be willing to make out with aaron for a scene.

a boy with a mullet to play the tennis geek.

a guy to play jerrod webley, the cross dressing boy.

a girl who has one scene in a broken down car who makes out with jerome.

a girl to play the retarded prostitute.

an accordion.

2 bicycles. shittier the better.

cowboy hats and toy cowboy guns.

a middle aged woman (this might be a long shot) willing to dance on screen.

this is a big long shot - a girl with an 80's heavy metal shirt (preferably Krokus) who is willing to shave her eyebrows.

neat. seriously. we need this stuff.

2:41 pm - this is my story of the past few weeks
i have a kidney stone.

for those of you who don't know, a kidney stone is probably the most painful thing a male or female can go through. tantamount to the pain of childbirth, a hardened piece of oxalate moves from your kidney to your bladder through a tube called the ureter, which coincidentally, does not stretch very well. the stone scrapes and pushes its way though.

so anyways i had to go to the emergency room because the pain got so intense i was throwing up. i should also state that i have had kidney stones before in my youth (i have a genetic disposition to them. go figure) but they have never driven me to the edge of madness as this one has, both in pain and duration. you see, the passage of a kidney stone should only take 48 hours. mine has been traveling for almost 2 weeks now.

after a few days of popping vicadin every 3 to 6 hours to keep the pain down, things started to calm down. i thought the worst was over, but it turns out the stone embedded and stopped moving.
i played a few shows with the Hodder and through all that commotion knocked it loose a couple of times resulting in utter pain.

so Alissa and I have been researching other methods of getting it out short of surgery or ultra-sonic treatment.

well we found one that works. drinking a combination of olive oil and fresh lemon juice gets it moving. how do i know this? because i am in true pain right now. i chugged a bunch this morning and now i am throwing up from the pain. i took vicadin but i think i waited to long because it has only dulled the pain.

so anyways. that's me.

i have found one comfortable position and that is sitting perfectly straight up. which is not actually very comfortable, but the pain isn't as excruciating.

6:43 am - from cracked com
this is dragon force:

If you can't already tell from their photo or name (which was either devised by a fifth grader or based on some horrible Nintendo role-playing game), DragonForce is a metal band. But they're not just any metal band. DragonForce is a living, breathing, walking cliché of such epic proportions, it makes Spinal Tap seem like an actual documentary.

To truly illustrate just how cliché these guys really are, I took a look at the lyrics from DragonForce's recent eight-song epic album, Inhuman Rampage, and here's what I found:

Even with all the references to battles of steel and the burning of fire and flames, it's still pretty impressive that DragonForce was able to use the word "pain" an incredible 26 times in only eight songs (and that doesn't even count how many times it's repeated in the chorus). After listening to the lead singer's voice and watching their videos, it's most surprising that the word "pussy" doesn't appear once. That word was apparently not included with the Dungeons and Dragons magnetic poetry set the band used to write their lyrics.

This is Belle and Sebatian:

Belle and Sebastian are trying to achieve the exact opposite image of DragonForce. A far cry from a raging metal band obsessed with burning flames of fire, these dandy fops want to bring you into their world of tea and crumpets, where unicorns and leprechauns pick daisies and talk about rainbows. Their music is the sound of two Smurfs hugging.

With songs like “We Are the Sleepyheads,” “Funny Little Frog” and “For the Price of a Cup of Tea,” The Life Pursuit is so ridiculously happy, it makes Care Bears look goth. It’s what the Powerpuff Girls would listen to if they won the lotto. And just check out some of the songs rumored to be on the band’s next release:

“Kisses for Grandma”
“Spoonin’ and a Cuddlin’”
“I Pooped a Cupcake”
“The Ballad of the Missing Testicles”

You’ve heard the stories of bands requesting copious amounts of booze and drugs backstage as part of their payment for performing. Belle and Sebastian have a stipulation in their contract that they must be provided with at least one dozen puppies and a gallon of vanilla ice cream before they go on stage.
